Sports Medicine:

The Kennewick High School Sports Medicine Team is committed to providing high quality healthcare to all student-athletes through prevention, recognition, evaluation, and assessment of athletic injuries. The sports medicine staff will provide immediate care, rehabilitation, and reconditioning of any injuries sustained within school-sanctioned activities. We want to thank our partners Kadlec Clinic Northwest Orthopedic & Sports Medicine along with Dr. Jason Dutton for providing Sports Medicine and Orthopedic needs.

Let’s meet the sports medicine staff here at Kennewick High.

Athletic Trainer: Kayla Sullins MSAT, LAT, ATC

What is an athletic trainer?

Athletic trainers are highly qualified multi-skilled healthcare professionals specifically trained in prevention, examination, diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation of medical conditioned and emergent, acute, and chronic injuries. At KeHS we have an athletic trainer here every day afterschool until the last in-season practice.

Get to know our athletic trainer:

Kayla Sullins started being the athletic trainer for KeHS in February of 2023. She graduated from Whitworth University with her Bachelors in Kinesiology and her Masters in Athletic Training. Kayla has a passion for sports and helping others which is why she loves being an athletic trainer.
